Open House London is an annual celebration of the iconic, historic and important buildings of the capital, and ahead of 2018's event, it's been announced that the US Embassy in London will be opening its doors to the general public.

The event, which takes place over the weekend of September 22 to 23, sees more than 750 buildings in London opening their doors for free to the public. As well as the US Embassy, a range of buildings including homes, offices and even breweries will be available to visit.

Other highlights include the Grade-II Listed BT Tower, Bloomberg's new European headquarters, the Royal Opera House, The Shard and even Number 10 Downing Street.

Whilst many venues will be open for all members of the public to visit, some buildings will operate a balloted entry system. The full details on 2018's Open House London will be revealed on August 21, including details on accessible buildings and ballots. Keep an eye on openhouselondon.org.uk for more details.
