The American magazine's Newsletter

What a difference a week makes. On Saturday March 14, air travel between the UK/Ireland and the US became restricted, and since then, countries on both sides of the pond have introduced self-isolation advisories which have seen hundreds of thousands working from home. Whichever side of the Atlantic you’re on, we hope you, your family and loved ones are well – The American’s office remains up and running, so if you need any support or information, let us know via telephone or e-mail.

This week’s newsletter contains some essential information, including details on how Americans can fly back to the States and information on the status of the US Embassy in London, and combines it with some articles we hope you enjoy, including an escape to the Cotswolds, a London play we can’t wait to see when this is all over, Mike Carlson’s view on cheating in Baseball, and a fascinating look at how Shakespeare is shaping America with scholar James Shapiro. We’ll continue to provide your must-read weekly mix of important and fun stuff whatever the situation, so keep an eye on TheAmerican.co.uk and enjoy your newsletter!
