The American Women's Club of London (AWC London) has confirmed that top American chef James Oseland will be joining them on June 23 for a special Mexican Cooking Class on Zoom. The Class will see the international food expert lead a virtual cooking demo, with authentic Mexican dishes including Spicy Guacamole with Serrano Chiles, Real Mexican-Style Quesadillas, Authentic Grilled-Tomato Salsa with Cilantro and Mexico City Micheladas with Lime Juice and Hot Sauce on the menu.
The event provides a sneak preview of Mr Oseland's upcoming cooking book, World Food: Mexico City, and will also offer a great chance to find out more about the AWC London. Particularly during these difficult times, the American Women's Club of London seeks to offer a diverse and welcoming group for women of all nationalities in the UK. The Zoom Mexican Cooking class follows the AWC's monthly meeting, so if you're interested in finding out more about the group and would like to get involved, this would be a great opportunity to do so.
As part of their outreach, AWC London is welcoming all members of the public to join in the class, and are offering a special £10 ticket price to readers of The American.
The event will take place on Tuesday, 23rd of June, 2020 from 6 to 7:30pm BST. To take part, use the code TheAM2020 to register at https://awclondon.wildapricot.org/event-3849837. A zoom invite link and a list of shopping ingredients will be sent on registration. More details about the American Women's Club of London can be found at awclondon.org. Provecho!
