Royal Mail in the UK and the US Postal Service have confirmed 2020's deadlines for delivering parcels and letters in time for December 25th. With ongoing regulations around international travel caused by the coronavirus pandemic, which has in turn disrupted international shipping, the best advice is to plan ahead and get your gifts and cards in the mail as soon as possible.
The recommended last post deadline is Monday November 2 using Royal Mail's International Economy services, or Saturday December 12 if using Royal Mail's International Standard and International Tracking and Signature services.

If you plan on using Parcelforce Worldwide for delivering parcels or larger items to the US, there are several deadlines to take note of. The recommended deadline for sending to the US by GlobalEconomy is Friday October 30, by GlobalValue is Wednesday December 9, by GlobalPriority is Friday December 11, or by GlobalExpress is Friday December 18.

If you're using USPS to send mail to the UK, Monday December 7 is the recommended deadline for Priority Mail International or First-Class Package International Service. If you choose Priority Mail Express International, send your mail by Monday December 14, or you can send mail as late as Thursday December 17 by choosing Global Express Guaranteed delivery.
