US Embassy Goes Hollywood
The Embassy is inviting social media influencers to explore American TV culture. Act Now, Deadline April 12!

The US Embassy is London is offering young social media influencers in the UK the chance to visit the USA and find out more about American TV culture.

The '2019 Exploring American Values Program' is "offering an exciting opportunity for young social media influencers from across the UK to apply to take part in an exchange to learn more about important issues shaping American culture as portrayed in popular US television shows." The TV shows which are being covered in the program include The West Wing, Parks and Recreation and Breaking Bad.

The Program, which runs from May 25 to June 8, 2019, involves trips to locations across the US which link with these TV shows, offering an insight into issues including the checks and balances of US politics, the impact of public-private partnerships, drugs and immigration, and other similar subjects. It concludes with a visit to Los Angeles, where a tour of Universal Studios will provide an insight into American motion pictures and TV production.
