The US Embassy in London has confirmed that it is resuming all US passport services. Previously, the Embassy had been offering a limited range of services due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, and associated lockdowns. However, on September 14, the Embassy confirmed that they are now able to offer all services for overseas Americans.

The services available from the US Embassy in London include:

- Adult passport renewals
- First time adult passport
- Child passport renewals
- Replacing an emergency limited validity passport with a full validity passport
- Registering the birth of a child born outside the United States (CRBA) and applying for their first passport
- Appointments relating to the replacement of lost, stolen or damaged passports

Appointments at the Embassy in London remain limited due to ongoing social distancing measures, so the Embassy advises that "If no appointments are available when you first check the online calendar, please keep checking the calendar for newly released appointments and daily cancelations." Safety procedures are also in place at the Embassy to continue to protect staff and citizens.

The Embassy have also noted that due to reduced staffing, the US Consulates in Belfast and Edinburgh are only offering emergency services at this time.
