The American Embassy Introduces Yael Lempert

The American Embassy in London has announced that Yael Lempert is the new Deputy Chief of Mission. A career member of the US Senior Foreign Service, Ms Lempert previously served as acting Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Egypt and North Africa from June 2017 to December 2018, and between 2015 and 2018 also served as Special Assistant to the President.

Ms Lempert earned undergraduate and graduate degrees from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University, and is the recipient of several State Department Superior and Meritorious Honor awards, as well as the National Security Council’s Outstanding Service Award, which she received in May 2017.

The American magazine would like to welcome Ms Lempert to the role of Deputy Chief of Mission of the American Embassy in the UK.
