It’s been a big week for news, but then between Covid-19, US Elections and the UK leaving the EU, when isn’t it a big week for news these days? That said, in this week 231 years ago, something big happened which has made headlines ever since. On September 25, 1789, the First Federal Congress of the US proposed twelve amendments to the Constitution, eight of which became the Bill of Rights. In all the news that 2020 is throwing out, big things are happening which could affect us all on both sides of the Atlantic for decades to come.
