Win Tickets to UK Screenings of The Cold Blue
Your chance to WIN tickets to see this July 4th’s screening of the epic new film documenting the lives of WW2 American Bombers

Published on June 27, 2019

In partnership with Fathom Events, CinEvents brings acclaimed filmmaker Erik Nelson’s brand-new World War II documentary The Cold Blue to UK & Irish cinemas for one night only on 4th July 2019

Chronicling the heroic struggles of the Eighth Air Force during World War II, who flew B-17 Bombers over Europe, the film features rediscovered and meticulously restored raw color footage found in the National Archives from the 1944 documentary Memphis Belle: A Story of a Flying Fortress, directed by the legendary director William Wyler.

A meditation on youth, war and trauma, The Cold Blue is a tribute to one of the world’s greatest filmmakers, his cameraman Harold Tannenbaum – who perished in combat while filming – and the men of the Eighth Air Force, who flew mission after lethal mission during the Air War.

We have a great selection of prizes available to celebrate the screening of The Cold Blue. One winner will receive a pair of tickets to the London Screening which includes a live Q&A with Erik Nelson. Nine winners will receive a pair of tickets to screenings at locations across the country (dependant on availability, Terms & Conditions apply). Two runner up winners will receive merchandise from the film, which includes a copy of the original soundtrack by Richard Thompson and a film poster.
