Between March 21st and April 7th, Wilton's Music Hall in London devotes its stage to five iconic singers, as Bernadette Robinson inhabits the lives and voices of Judy Garland, Patsy Cline, Billie Holiday, Edith Piaf and Maria Callas in the European Premiere of Songs for Nobodies. In this moving, extraordinary one-woman show by renowned playwright Joanna Murray–Smith, Robinson tells the intimate encounters of these five icons of the stage with five 'ordinary' women, seamlessly bringing each 'nobody' to life whilst with phenomenal control of tone, accent and vocal style brings the voices of each legendary singer to the stage.
