1) Hi Myq, thank you for talking with us! Our traditional opening question; where in the States are you from?

New Jersey is where I was born. Boston, Massachusetts is where I became a comedian. New York City is where I live now. All I'm missing is where I'm going to die.

2) Your show 'All Killing Aside' has its London debut at the Soho Theatre later this month. Can you tell us what the show is about?

It's a comedy show about truth, love and not murdering. Kindness, religion, and drugs. Movies, bathrooms, and other relatable topics. All kinds of things.

3) What inspired you to develop the show?

Knowing that one day I would get to answer this question.

4) I read that you studied Linguistics at Boston University - how important is language to comedy?

Bakdlfjhoaiodhviohjoiapdshihb.

5) What kind of topics inspire your material?

Love. The universe. Religion. Politics. Food. Music. The movie "Inception." Veganism. The band Nickelback. Ayahuasca ceremonies. You know, the usual.

6) When you perform comedy overseas in locations like the UK, do you alter your material at all?

When in the UK, I will speak only in Russian.

7) Can you tell us one thing about yourself that nobody else knows?

I don't speak Russian.

8) How do you plan to spend your time in London outside of the show?

My girlfriend loves these tiny classics published by a British company called Macmillan, so we may spend our trip seeking out these tiny books. THIS IS MY MOST SERIOUS ANSWER SO FAR.

9) What's on the horizon for you and your work?

I plan to record and release "All Killing Aside," and then do the same for my next hour, and the hour after that, and the hour after that, until night has fallen across the universe. And maybe I'll keep going then as well.

10) Finally, what's the best thing about being Myq Kaplan?

For our purposes here, let's say it's THIS COMEDY SHOW. PLEASE COME TO SEE THIS COMEDY SHOW, THANK YOU. AND THANK YOU FOR ASKING ME THESE QUESTIONS. YOU ARE THE BEST, AND ALSO EVERYONE READING THESE ANSWERS IS THE BEST. Sincerely, thank you.
