Two events in London are being hosted by Democrats Abroad with great entertainment

Join Democrats Abroad UK on Wednesday, June 12th, for their Comedy Night fundraiser – an evening of pointed humor and sharp satire with some of the best comedic talent from TV, stage and screen today. All money raised will help fund the Democrats Abroad UK Get Out the Vote operation.

The line-up includes:

Erich McElroy
In addition to playing festivals and live shows up and down the UK, Erich often appears on television and radio to talk comedy and politics with BBC Breakfast, Sky News and Five News as well as programs like BBC 5 Live, Love Sport Radio, and TalkRadio. He's the creator and host of the podcast Erich McElroy's American Exchange and the Edinburgh Festival Fringe show, Electile Dysfunction.

Kerry Godliman
Fresh from filming Rob Reiner's soon to be released Spinal Tap II, the sequel to his mockumentary classic, Kerry is a champion contestant on Ch 4's Taskmaster, the comedy panel game show. She is often heard on Radio 4's News Quiz, Now Show and Just a Minute and is also known for her roles in Ch 4's comedy-drama Derek, the ITV sitcom Bad Move and the Netflix comedy drama After Life.

Anuvab Paul
The New York Times calls Anuvab "India's most intelligent comedian." His work has been featured in Time, CNN, BBC, Wall Street Journal, Huffington Post, The Economist, FT, The New Yorker and elsewhere. He has worked with Stephen Fry on Radio 2's Festival of Funny and as a panellist on Radio 4's News Quiz. He once described himself as "The only Indian comedian invited to perform at Harvard."

Robyn Perkins
Returning for Comedy Night 2024, American comedian Robyn describes herself as curious about everything. She tackles some of life's biggest topics on stage and brings them back to the audience with personal, relatable and real-life anecdotes. Chortle calls her "smart, engaging, fun and funny."

Ian Stone
Regarded as "masterful" by The Times and "seriously funny" by The Guardian, Ian may be best known for blending football and laughter with his weekly comedy football panel show The Football's On broadcast by BT Sport. As a panellist on BBC2's Mock the Week and Never Mind the Buzzcocks, he's honed his comedic skills and will be back at Edinburgh Fringe later this year.

Adults* and Children 13+: $10.00
Children 12 and Under: FREE

There'll be live music by the Kate Ellis Band, games, food and drinks for purchase, and activities for the whole family. This year, pre-ordered picnic box options are being offered in addition to on-site food.
