Could the 8th in line to the British throne be an American?

Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, are expecting their second child. The sibling of Archie will not only be 8th in line to the throne, just behind his/her brother, but as Prince Harry and Meghan are now living in Montecito, California, the baby will likely be an American citizen with dual American-British nationality, a first for the British Monarchy.

Congratulations to the Duke and Duchess, and we're sure Archie will be a fantastic big brother!
