Websters, a leading independent practice based in Cambridge, is looking for a U.S. Tax Semi-Senior/Senior for a role offering variety, autonomy and exposure to a broad client base.
Your responsibilities will include:
● Preparation of U.S. tax returns for a varied portfolio of clients ● Updating of tax return status on internal systems for reporting purposes ● Collating tax information from clients and 3rd parties ● Demonstrating thorough technical knowledge of U.S. tax return procedures ● Maintaining high service levels with regards to both colleagues and clients ● Completion of U.S. bank account forms, W8BENs, filing extensions etc. ● Conducting U.S. tax research
The Candidate must have:
● Two years-plus U.S. tax season experience ● Working knowledge of, or an interest in gaining experience in U.K. tax preparation practices ● Strong communication and interpersonal skills ● Ability to work well under pressure; to prioritise and manage time effectively.

We are seeking a recent graduate keen to start a career in US/UK personal tax. Our preferred candidate would have a US background coupled with strong mathematical/economics qualifications and great communications skills.
The position includes full study support and training to become an ATT and EA (IRS Enrolled agent) on a starting salary of £22,000.
