Americans who live abroad have the right to vote in US elections – if they register. Here's how... and when.

Overseas Americans can vote in US elections. And their vote can sway the results of District, State and Presidential primaries and elections. Yet fewer than 8% of the 2.8 million overseas citizens who were eligible to vote did so. Don't let your vote go to waste!

The following states have these elections for federal office you may be eligible to vote in. On your state's website you should check to see if you are also eligible to vote in 'down ticket' non-federal state and local level elections:
