Yunus Musah, who spent seven years in Arsenal's academy and has been eligible to play for England, Ghana and Italy chose to play for the US, the country he was born in. The 18-year-old Valencia midfielder was born in America in November 2002 while his Ghanaian mother was visiting relatives in the Bronx, but his family moved to Italy shortly afterwards.

Following a switch to London, however, he joined the Arsenal Academy, helping the Gunners' Under-18s to the 2018 FA Youth Cup Final and the 2018-19 Youth Premier League South championship.

He made his senior international debut for the US in a friendly against Wales last September, and from there went on to play against Northern Ireland at Windsor Park in a friendly where he repeatedly drove at the Northern Ireland defense and looked a constant menace.

At half time the score was 0-1 in the US's favor, and at full time it was a well-deserved 1-2 victory for the US team, earning a win away from home and disappointment for Northern Ireland.
