The NFL arrived back in London and its spiritual home of Wembley Stadium. It was a Jaguars home game, but as usual, there was a heavy mix of fans of all 32 NFL teams, and also some showing colours from domestic leagues.
Superfans supported the Falcons...
...and the Jaguars
Jaguar's mascot Jaxson de Ville is always up to mischievous antics. Once again he proved that the heights of the Wembley roof were no challenge as he performed his regular bungee jump from the rafters.
Country music singer Alyssa Bonagura sang the pre-game US National Anthem.
This would prove to be a happy day for Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence. It was a steady performance statistically but to come away with a win will be very pleasing and improve his team to 2-2.
Desmond Ridder struggled all day to get his Atlanta Falcons moving forward. This was a tough day for the rookie play-caller, and his team will want improvement if they are to have a winning record by the end of the season.
Darius Williams put a dagger in the Falcons' hopes when he returned an interception 61 yards for a touchdown late in the second quarter. This made the score 17-0 and looked to seal the game even by halftime.
Chart-topping performer Tom Grennan provided the halftime entertainment.
The Jaguars Roar cheerleaders were present all day to help give the game some glamour.
Christian Kirk had a stellar day receiving the ball. He was Trevor Lawrence’s favourite target as he went to his man 12 times. Kirk caught eight of those passes for 84 yards.
Bijan Robinson was one of the few highlights for the Atlanta Falcons. The running back had one of the best days rushing the football that London has seen. He carried 14 times for 104 yards.
Overall it was another successful NFL London event, and the Jaguars fans left the happiest, with their team beating the Falcons 23-7.
