| | We start today with a story that’s “Out Of This World” … literally! Today, NASA announced the Astronauts selected for the Artemis programme, which includes the next American landings on the moon. Among the 18 selected US Astronauts, three have UK connections, and we’ll be speaking with one of them – Anne C McClain – very soon, so stay tuned to our social media and newsletters!
Back on Planet Earth, we’re still dealing with the coronavirus pandemic, but this week’s newsletter contains a lot of positive stories, including free Stearman biplane flights for WW2 veterans and Team Mildenhall’s donation of toys to the local community. There’s also news of a court case involving the US State Department, as a legal challenge mounts against US Citizenship renunciation fees.
However you’re spending December, stay safe, stay warm, enjoy your newsletter and don’t forgot to look up at the stars - see if you can spot the Geminid meteor showers on December 13 and 14, or Anne McClain's former home, the International Space Station, as it flies by! |
