SPORTS Baseball: Spring Training in the UK The baseball season is just around the corner - not just across the pond, but here in the UK too. Many domestic baseball clubs are beginning Spring training and looking for players right now, so if you'd like to take to the diamond once the good weather arrives, check out some of the options and contacts below, or visit www.baseballsoftballuk.com - you may be surprised just how much baseball and softball is out there. Club Baseball Herts Baseball Club Indoor Spring Training sessions are being held for adult and youth players at Berkhamsted SportSpace, Douglas Garden, Berkhamsted HP4 3QQ on the following days:
London Mets Baseball Club Runs open practice sessions for children mid-week and Saturdays, Finsbury Park (indoors if wet). Adult teams training sessions are held Sundays, 10.00 -13.00 at Barnard Park, Islington. Indoor sessions are held on Wednesday evenings at Stoke Newington School. Academy Baseball BSUK Off-season sessions are held monthly at MK Dons Academy Dome, Woughton on the Green, Milton Keynes MK6 3EA, for youth players seeking advanced coaching (Under-12, Under-15 or Under-18).
